Mission Statement

To proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ by word and example, to teach Catholic Doctrine based on the primary sources of Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition under the guidance of the teaching authority of the Church, to support values of Christian morality and to foster the faith formation of all ages as a lifelong journey. We recognize these values must first be lived in the domestic Church of families as the primary faith educators. Our goal is to provide formation and support to parish families as they worship together in a community of faith and to motivate each member to respond to the call of service to Christ and the Church.

RESOURCES

Parish Library

The parish library is located in the church and includes materials in both print and audiovisual format. The library contains adult and child books that contribute to the spiritual and religious development of the parish, with many books donated by parishioners. The honor system is used when checking materials out and returning them. Simply fill out the card in the book and put it in the box marked cards. You are asked to return the material within two weeks so that they will be available to other parishioners. There is a return box located in the library. Food and drinks are not permitted in the library and children should be supervised during their stay.

Catechist Resource Materials

A catechist resource area is provided in the RE office. In this area are books, tapes, DVD’s and periodicals especially for catechists. This room is open anytime during the office hours.

Christian Faith Advisory Committee (CFAC)

The committee aides in planning, directing, initiating, promoting, and evaluating Catholic educational programs within the parish. The committee meets every other month: January, March, May, July, September, and November. The committee is comprised of parishioners that have a committed interest to a specific area of our RE program. Contact these members with your concerns, suggestions, or kudos for the RE Programs (members to be posted in the bulletin).
